This page explains what happens to your information when you visit samori.io. The site is run by Samori Media, a trading name of Samori Ltd (registered in England and Wales, no. 17363551), which is the data controller for the information described on this page. If you have any questions, email info@samori.io.

What we collect

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and our own pages don't set cookies or store anything in your browser. Apart from the email signup form described below, everything a page needs is served from our own web host, so visiting it doesn't connect you to any other company.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider, Namecheap, automatically records basic technical details of each visit: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept for a limited period before being deleted.

If you email us or use our contact form

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we'll use your name, email address and message only to reply to you. The form sends your message to our inbox as an email, together with the IP address it came from, and we keep a short-lived record of that address to limit spam. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and we never sell or share it for marketing.

Email signup

On our Insights page you can ask for our SEO and AI search toolkit by email. The signup form is provided by Brevo, our email service, so loading that form connects your browser to Brevo. If you sign up, we collect your email address and your agreement (the tick box). Brevo first sends you a confirmation email, and we only add you once you confirm. We use your address to send you the toolkit. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email info@samori.io and we'll remove you. We keep your address until you unsubscribe. Brevo handles the data under its own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

The site links to our social media profiles and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave samori.io.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email info@samori.io and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
